Dhaka, May 18 (bdnews24.com) — Bangladesh has stepped up to the 163rd position in FIFA-Coca-Cola World Ranking in football from last month's 166th.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) informed the media of the ranking at a press briefing on Wednesday.
The federation said Spain secured the top position on the list while the Netherlands got the second, Brazil the third and Argentina the 5th places.
India is now on the top among the SAARC countries with 145th position while Bangladesh secured the fourth position, a BFF spokesperson said.
Worldwide, Nepal is now holding the 147th place and Maldives the 148th.
