Dhaka, Dec 22 (BDNEWS) – Bangladesh became runners-up beating Sri Lanka in 1st Asian Carrom Championship in Male, Maldives held on December 18-21.
India retained the title.
Six Asian Nations- Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Malaysia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka participated in tournament.
Bangladesh was represented by a four-member team.
Sports and Youth Minister of Maldives, Hossian Hllmy gave away the prizes at the closing ceremony. Bangladesh High Commissioner in Male Mijarul Quayes was present as Special Guest.
