Dhaka, Oct 22 (bdnews24.com) – Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan Sunday said there should be a multiparty consensus in regards to country's foreign and economic policies.
"Multiparty consensus on foreign and economic policy provides a confidence to the investors," Morshed said inaugurating a press lounge for the Diplomatic Correspondents Association of Bangladesh (DCAB) at the Foreign Ministry.
He said country's foreign policy should be pursued in a transparent manner. "I have used the press as a shield on some occasions and kept my door open for journalist," he said explaining his openness to the press.
Morshed appreciated the diplomatic journalists and members of the DCAB for their professional approach.
The minister donated his personal computer and a television for the lounge.
Acting Foreign Secretary Towhid Hossain, Director General of the External Publicity Wing Zahirul Haque, DCAB President Anis Alamgir and General Secretary Masud Karim also spoke.
