BNP chief Khaleda Zia is not going to Singapore for treatment of her younger son, a party spokesman said late Wednesday. Khaleda decided at 9pm to postpone the planned trip after an extortion case was filed Wednesday against Arafat Rahman Coco with Gulshan police, spokesman Nazrul Islam Khan said. "The leader has told me Coco is sick. She needed to go to Singapore for his urgent treatment. The leader is also sick. "But she cancelled the Singapore trip after a false case was filed against Coco," Khan told bdnews24.com at 9:15pm by phone. Khan said the former prime minister has called for a stop to harassment and dismissal of the "false case" against Coco.
