Rain brings relief from sweltering heat

After days of oppressive heat, rain brought much-needed relief on Wednesday. Showers hit parts of Dhaka from the morning onwards, easing the stifling heat and ushering in cooler conditions. However, whilst the downpour cooled the city down, it also brought significant disruption for school-going children and their parents. Captured from the Kakrail area .
