New taka notes released

Gulistan is flooded with new currency notes ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, this time with a slight difference. Bangladesh Bank has issued new notes without the image of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Even though there are not enough new notes in the bank, they are being sold at high prices in the currency note exchange markets.
