Walkway beside Buriganga in ruins

A walkway was constructed along the banks of the Buriganga River in Dhaka’s Shyampur. Much of it is now in poor condition due to a lack of maintenance. Bricks have been removed in some places while iron rods have disappeared in others. The safety barriers are broken in several spots.
