Narayanganj, April 5 (BDNEWS) – The 'Langalbandh Snan', one of the important Hindu festivals, started on Wednesday at Bandar thana in the district. The festival started at 9 am and would continue till 10 am on Thursday.
On the occasion of the holy festival 'Langalbandh Snan', hundreds of devotees, including women, children and elderly people, from home and abroad gathered to take part in the holy bath.
According to sources, among the foreigners, many people from India, Nepal and Sri Lanka were seen taking the baths.
On the other hand, the government have deployed a huge contingent of RAB and police forces to ensure smooth holding of the festival.
