During the same period, 483 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

Since Jan 1, a total of 15,157 dengue patients have been hospitalised across the country, while 13,935 have recovered and been discharged.

The DGHS has maintained records of dengue hospitalisations and deaths since 2000. Bangladesh recorded its deadliest outbreak in 2023, when 321,179 people were hospitalised and 1,705 died.

About 102,000 dengue cases and more than 400 deaths were reported in 2025.
