National Film Awards 2017: Oggatonama emerges as the best film

The government has announced winners of National Film Awards 2017.

‘Oggatonama’, director by Tauquir Ahmed and produced by Impress Telefilm, won the best picture.  

Amitabh Reza won the best director for ‘Aynabaji’. Chanchal Chowdhury, the protagonist in the film, won the best actor’s award. 

Afroza Imrose Tisha and Kusum Sikder were awarded as the best actresses for the films, Ostitto and Shongkhochil respectively.

Bobita (real name Farida Akhter) and Farooque (real name Akbar Hossain Pathan) have been honoured for life-time achievements.
