Education authorities have postponed Saturday's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams under the Chattogram education board.
The affected exams will be rescheduled later, while tests under other education boards will proceed as planned.
On Friday, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee announced the decision following reports from deputy commissioners across the Chattogram Division.
An Information and Communication Technology (ICT) exam was due to be held on Saturday.
The committee said the test had been called off after the “weather deteriorated and the flood situation worsened”.
The suspension covers all five districts under the board -- Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Khagrachhari, Rangamati and Bandarban.
Alim exams under the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board, along with HSC (BMT), Vocational and Diploma in Commerce under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, have also been postponed in the same five districts.
Earlier, Wednesday's exams under the same boards had also been postponed for the same reason.
This year's HSC exams under the country's nine general education boards are being held with a common set of question papers.
Ahead of the exams on Jul 1, Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon said three sets of question papers had been prepared for each subject to deal with emergencies.
The 2026 HSC and equivalent exams began on Jul 2, with about 1.27 million regular and irregular candidates registered under 11 education boards.
