Gayle, Pollard to boost Gladiators

West Indian cricketers Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard have confirmed their availability for defending champions Dhaka Gladiators in this season’s Bangladesh Premier League.

The duo will be in action from the semi-final stage of the tournament.

Both Gayle and Pollard were in the Golden Category of the foreign players’ list and were bought by the Gladiators for the base price.

West Indies top-order batsman Gayle played for the Barisal Burners in the inaugural BPL last year. All-rounder Pollard represented the Gladiators in 2012.

They will fly to Dhaka on Feb 14.
