EducationUSA has held a seminar at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) to guide students on graduate study opportunities in the United States.
The 60-minute session, titled “Exploring US Higher Education: Graduate Study, Scholarships, and Application Strategies”, took place at the ULAB campus on Sept 24, according to media statement.
EducationUSA advisors Sohel Iqbal and Gulshan Alam from the American Center and Shynan Rahman from the EMK Center conducted the seminar.
They discussed admission requirements at US universities, the application process and key considerations for students preparing for graduate study.
They also covered financial aid and scholarship opportunities available to international students.
ULAB Vice-Chancellor Prof Shamsad Mortuza attended the seminar and spoke about the importance of international exposure and informed academic planning for students seeking higher education abroad.
He encouraged students to explore global academic opportunities and make informed decisions about their future studies and careers.
The advisors also held several surprise quizzes during the session. Students took part in the quizzes and received EducationUSA gifts for correct answers.
The seminar gave students an opportunity to receive guidance directly from EducationUSA advisors and learn more about admissions, scholarships and application strategies for graduate study in the US, the statement said.
