Another three patients have died of dengue in the past 24 hours, while 1,432 patients have been admitted to hospitals.
All three were receiving treatment at hospitals in Dhaka division, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The latest figures have taken the country's dengue toll this year to 214, including 118 in September, the highest monthly total recorded so far this year.
According to the DGHS bulletin issued on Saturday, 106 patients were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka North City Corporation and 176 in Dhaka South City Corporation in the 24 hours to 8am on Friday.
Another 280 patients were admitted to hospitals elsewhere in Dhaka Division.
Among other divisions, 204 patients were admitted in Barishal, 209 in Chattogram, 241 in Khulna, 112 in Mymensingh, 57 in Rajshahi and 53 in Rangpur.
A total of 1,429 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals during the same period.
So far this year, 71,536 people have been hospitalised with dengue, while 66,256 have been discharged.
The health directorate has kept records of dengue hospitalisations and fatalities since 2000.
The highest number of hospitalisations was recorded in 2023, when 321,179 people were admitted. That year also saw the highest number of fatalities, at 1,705.
More than 400 people died of dengue last year, when around 102,000 cases were recorded.
