The Namaz-e-Janaza was held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Juma prayer on Friday.
Apart from the leaders and activists of the ruling 14-Party Alliance, which organised it, ordinary people joined the prayer conducted by national mosque Khatib Maulana Salahuddin.
Rows of the prayer attendees stretched out to Bangabandhu Square from Baitul Mukarram’s south gate.
