The International Crimes Tribunal has ordered trial for six individuals from Netrokona for crimes against humanity during the Liberation War.

They stand accused of murder, rape, abduction, torture, looting and arson during the 1971 war.
Of the six indicted by the three-member bench headed by Justice Anwarul Huq, one Abdur Rahman of Purbadhala Upazila is in custody following his arrest last year.
The others -- Sheikh Md Abdul Mazid aka Majid Mawlana, Md Abdul Khalek Talukdar, Md Kabir Khan, Abdus Salam Beg and Nuruddin -- are absconding.
Their trail will begin with opening statements by the prosecution on Jun 12.
