Dhaka, Mar 17 (BDNEWS) – Shyamal Dutt has been appointed Editor of the Daily Bhorer Kagoj.
He, earlier, was appointed Acting Editor in January 2005.
Shyamal Dutt has been working in the daily since its inception. During his professional life in the Bhorer Kagoj, he was also the Executive Editor, special correspondent, chief reporter and diplomatic correspondent.
He took part in different higher-training courses and programmes abroad. He also did Post-Graduate Diploma course on International Journalism from California University in USA and Internship from the daily Lincoln Star published from Lincoln City at Nebraska State in USA.
He is the joint secretary of Commonwealth Journalist's Association and former general secretary of Bangladesh Diplomatic Journalist's Association.
He is also associated with the Jatiya Press Club and the Dhaka Reporters Unity.
