Chittagong, Mar 9 (BDNEWS)- The Shiv Chaturdarshi Fair, one of the major religious festivals of Hindu community, ended in Sitakunda, Chittagong Wednesday.
The Fair is held every year centring a temple on the top of the Chandranath hill at Sitakunda. Thousands of devotees from home and abroad gather at the four day festival hoping to earn divine blessings.
The shaven head devotee had offered puja at the foot of Baskunda seeking salvation of the departed souls of their ancestors.
Though the Shiv ratri thithi ended Wednesday the Fair of various commodities will continue for a few more days.
