DMP spokesperson Maruf Hasan told bdnews24.com Abu Bakar Siddique was found at Kalabagan around 1:30am on Friday.

“A rider identified himself as AB Siddique while police were running a security check on an autorickshaw at Kalabagan.

“His family members confirmed his identity after he was taken to the police station,” added Hasan, deputy commissioner of Ramna division.

BELA lawyer Iqbal Kabir said Siddique had been brought to Mirpur in a car before his blindfold was taken off.
