Dhaka, Dec 5 (bdnews24.com) — The government will decide on Monday whether lottery or tests will be held for grade-I admission in 24 government schools in the capital, an official says.
Secondary and higher education department will hold a meeting with the headmasters to settle the issue, director general of the department Nomanur Rashid on Sunday told bdnews24.com.
Earlier, the headmasters gave their opinion in favour of holding lottery for class-I admission tests.
"We will also decide whether the seats will be extended or not," Rashid said.
The schools were asked to inform the number of vacant seats by Dec 7.
