Ittefaq correspondent assaulted in Natore

Natore, May 10 (BDNEWS)- A correspondent of the Daily Ittefaq was assaulted by a BDR member at Lalpur upazila in Natore district Monday night.

Police said BDR member Alauddin and his family members called out Mozammel Haque, an upazila correspondent of the Daily Ittefaq, from his house. They then physically assaulted Mozammel in a sequel to a previous enmity. He was admitted to Lalpur health complex.

A case hass been lodged with Lalpur police station in this connection.
