GPA-5 holder top-10 colleges of Barisal

Though a single college of Jhalakathi could not secure position among the top – 10 on the basis of a highest grade point, GPA-5, four colleges from Barisal, two each from Patuakhali and Barguna and one each from Bhola and Pirojpur districts found their position in the top list of the HSC examination results.

Barisal, Sep 7 (BDNEWS) – Though a single college of Jhalakathi could not secure position among the top – 10 on the basis of a highest grade point, GPA-5, four colleges from Barisal, two each from Patuakhali and Barguna and one each from Bhola and Pirojpur districts found their position in the top list of the HSC examination results.
Students of Amrit Lal Dey College of Barisal Education Board having 72 GPA-5 and with a pass percentage of 88.07 had the highest grade point list.
Barisal Government. Women's College obtained the second position with 31 GPA-5 holders and a pass percentage of 72.72.
Barisal Cadet College secured the third position with 31 higher grade point holders though it scored full pass percentage in the examination.
The remaining seven colleges having the highest grade are Government Sayed Hatem Ali College, Patuakhali Mozahar Uddin College, Barguna Govrnment College, Pirojpur Government Women's College, Amtali College, Charfashion College of Bhola and Golachipa Degree College of Patuakhali.
Not a single student passed from three colleges-- Bakerganj Women's College of Barisal, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman College under Mothbaria upazila in Pirojpur and Abdul Aziz Mahbudullah College under Nalchhiti upazila in Jhalakathi.
