The Tk 1.34 billion deal was inked on Monday with the Army's Special Works Organisation in association with the BRTC and BUET.
Maj Gen Abu Sayeed Md Masud on behalf of the Army and Padma bridge Project Director Shafiqul Islam signed the agreement at an official ceremony at Setu Bhaban in the capital.
Communications Minister Obaidul Quader said the deal would be valid for three years.

Army chief General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan said, "The Army will do quality work in the fastest possible time."
Obaidul Quader said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the construction work of the Jajira Approach Road and related infrastructure of the project after Eid-ul-Azha.
Another Tk 10.97 billion deal for the construction of Jajira Connecting Road and the requisite infrastructure of the Padma bridge project was signed on June 6. This deal will also be valid for three years.
