Ex-minister AK Fayzul dies at 63

AK Fayzul Haque, son of Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Haque, died of an heart attack Thursday evening at the age of 63. His namaz-e janaza will be held Friday after Juma prayers at Azad Mosque in Gulshan. His son AK Fayyaazul Haque said: "He felt chest pains at around 6:30pm. Soon after we took him to United Hospital, doctors declared him dead."

Dhaka, July 19 (bdnews24.com) – AK Fayzul Haque, son of Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Haque, died of an heart attack Thursday evening at the age of 63.
His namaz-e janaza will be held Friday after Juma prayers at Azad Mosque in Gulshan.
His son AK Fayyaazul Haque said: "He felt chest pains at around 6:30pm. Soon after we took him to United Hospital, doctors declared him dead."
The former state minister for jute left behind his wife, three sons and four daughters.
Thrice elected a member of parliament from Banaripara and Sharupkathi constituencies, he was part of HM Ershad and Sheikh Hasina's cabinets.
BNP secretary general Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan and Dhaka City mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka have condoled the death and expressed deep sympathy for the family.
