Dhaka, Feb 2 (bdnews24.com) – Three deputy inspectors general of prisons have been relocated, said a prisons official on Monday.
"Dhaka division's deputy inspector general of prisons Shamsul Haider Siddique has been transferred to Khulna-Barisal," Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, assistant inspector general of prisons, told bdnews24.com.
Khulna-Barisal's deputy inspector general of prisons Fazlur Rahman has been moved to Chittagong-Sylhet.
Major Sheikh Mohammad Saiful Islam of Chittagong-Khulna division has been relocated to Dhaka division.
Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman said a home ministry order had been received on the transfers.
