“We have rushed 10 teams to the spot from surrounding hospitals when we got the information. So far I found the injured have been properly taken care of,” A F M Ruhal Haque told bdnews24.com while visiting Savar’s Enam Medical College Hospital where most of the injured are now undergoing treatment.

At least 80 bodies have been recovered so far from the rubbles of the eight-storied Rana Plaza in Savar that collapsed on Wednesday morning.

More than 800 people were injured in what is easily one of the worst instances of building collapse ever in Bangladesh.

According to a Ministry of Health media release, the government had supplied 3,000 sets intravenous saline, 500 injections, 7,000 pieces antibiotic and 5,000 pieces paracetamol tablet to the private Enam Medical College and Hospital and Savar Upazilla Health Complex for the treatment of the injured.
