The government has reassigned Md Sanwar Jahan Bhuiyan, secretary at the Ministry of Labour and Employment, back to the Public Service Commission (PSC) Secretariat after five months.

In a corresponding move, Abdur Rahman Tarafder, who had been serving as secretary at the PSC Secretariat, was appointed secretary at the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

The ministry announced the moves on Tuesday.

Sanwar had earlier been serving as secretary at the PSC Secretariat from Oct 22, 2024.

After holding the post until Sept 24 last year, he was transferred to the labour ministry.

Five months on, he has now returned to his previous position at the PSC Secretariat.
