Police say miscreants hurled a bomb at Mostakinur Rahman's residence on Saturday evening when he was inside.
No-one was injured.
BNP chief Khaleda Zia called for the nonstop transport blockade across Bangladesh on Jan 5.
On Friday, Feni's Executive Magistrate Abdul Qadir Mia's vehicle was bombed and vandalised leaving him and another magistrate's wife injured.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has condemned the attack and ordered a swift arrest of the perpetrators.
Chapainawabganj police say they have bolstered security following Saturday's attack.
Meanwhile, a case has been filed over the Feni attack, naming 35 people, mostly BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami leaders, a source said.
A court ordered three men to prison in connection with the incident, police said.
Blockade campaigners attacked a police van on Saturday in Feni but no one was injured.
