British High Commissioner Robert Gibson has congratulated Bangladesh cricket team on their historic win at the Adelaide Oval.

The Tigers sealed their place in the knockout stage of the World Cup for the first time ever beating his country England on Monday.
“Congratulations to the Tigers. Well played,” Gibson tweeted after the victory.
The victory drew widespread accolades from home and abroad.
Even England cricket greats greeted Bangladesh.
Former captain Ian Botham wrote, "Well done Bangladesh ! England pathetic ! When are we going to pick the selectors to pick a team for the 1 day format ? Time for change !!"
Kevin Peterson also tweeted after the match. "I CANNOT BELIVE THIS! I JUST CANNOT! But, well done Bangladesh! You deserved it!"
