It was going to Chittagong from Dhaka.
The three-member crew are unhurt, police say.
Mirsarai Upazila Nirbahi Officer Zia Ahmed Sumon said the helicopter landed at a field near the Durgapur market around 4:30pm on Tuesday.
“It made the emergency landing due to a technical glitch,” he told bdnews24.com.
“Another BAF helicopter has flown here with several technicians for repairs.”
The helicopter later took off around 7pm.
