Bangladesh Air Force chief calls on president

Newly appointed Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Abu Esrar has paid a courtesy call on President Md Abdul Hamid.

Esrar went to Bangabhaban on Sunday, president’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin said. 

He thanked the president and the government for his appointment as the air force chief.

Esrar succeeded Muhammad Enamul Bari on Friday.

He sought the president’s cooperation to discharge his duties and the president, in turn, assured him of all assistance.
