Dhaka, Aug 2 (BDNEWS) – Unnamed miscreants shot at the security guard of Awami League leader Jahangir Sattar Tinku at city's Bara Maghbazar Wednesday night.
The victim was identified as Lavlu.
According to police and locals sources, the incident took place at around 7:30 pm when three gunmen appeared in front of the AL leader's house at 124 Bara Maghbazar and pumped bullets at Lavlu.
The family members of Tinku alleged that the criminals tried to storm their house and hunt for Tinku.
As Lavlu resisted them, the criminals fired one bullet and left the place.
Bullet injured Lavlu was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. His condition was stated to be out of danger, medical sources said.
