Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon has urged students and parents not to pay attention to the “rumours” of question leaks in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations.

He said, "We are making every effort to conduct good exams (SSC and equivalent) in a good environment and we request you not to pay any heed to these rumours."

“They are manoeuvring, manipulating, and spreading rumours in Telegram groups. We too, are monitoring them and are taking legal action. Actions have been taken, and will be taken furthermore.”

Education Minister Milon spoke to the media following an event organised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in Agargaon on Sunday.

In response to a question, he said: “These types of rumours are only meant to embarrass the government, right? The government will obviously be embarrassed by such rumours. You need to find out what is happening inside.”

“As of now, we see that you are satisfied, we are satisfied, the guardians are satisfied, the students are satisfied, the examinees are satisfied. So far, we have been getting good news. We are happy if the coming days pass well with your cooperation.”
