34th BCS preliminary results out

A total of 12,033 among 2,21,575 candidates have cleared the 34th BCS preliminary examinations.

Mir Mosharraf Hossain, Public Relations Officer for the Public Service Commission, told bdnews24.com on Monday about the results.

The results are available on the PSC’s website – www.bpsc.gov.bd.

This time the results will not be posted in the commission’s notice board.

The results can be obtained on mobile phone via text message by typing BCS <space> 34 <space> and registration number and sending it to 16222, Hossain said.

The successful candidates will have to fill out a PSC form starting from July 9 to take the written examination. The date for the written test will be announced later, he added.

The candidates sat on May 24 to pass the initial hurdles to contend for 2,052 posts in different cadres.

Circular for this year’s BCS examinations was announced on Feb 7.
