Dhaka, Feb 8 (BDNEWS)- A three-day training course on Project Cycle Management for the Asia Link Programme is going to end on February 8. The course started on February 6 at BRAC Center Inn in Dhaka.
The objective of the course was to encourage more educational institutions from Bangladesh to participate in the Asia Link Programme.
Around 40 participants from public and private universities and research institutions from all over Bangladesh are attending it while three European consultants are facilitating the course.
The Asia- Link Programme was set up by the European Commission to foster regional and multilateral networking between higher education institutions in Europe, South Asia, South East Asia and China. To date, it has granted 530 lakh secondary commitments to 156 partnership projects linking higher education institutions in the European Union and 17 eligible countries in Asia.
The programme aims to promote the creation of new partnerships, to reinforce existing partnerships between European and Asian universities, and to create new sustainable links.
