21 senior police officers are transferred, including DIGs and additional DIGs
New appointments have been made alongside removals and returns to parent posts
The protests are politically motivated, Chhatra Dal says
The move comes weeks into restructuring push across energy sector administration
The move was taken in the public interest, the home ministry says
The reshuffle includes the Directorate General of Food and the Department of Environment, while three authorities have also been given new chairmen
The changes include one additional IGP, seven DIGs, three additional DIGs, and 13 SPs
The Ministry of Home Affairs transferred four of them on Wednesday, while the other six were transferred on Tuesday
