Government reshuffles five pro-VCs across four universities

The government has overhauled the leadership across four public universities by appointing five new pro-vice chancellors to their administrative tiers.

The Ministry of Education’s Secondary and Higher Education Division issued multiple orders on Tuesday effecting the changes, Senior Information Officer Abdullah Shibli Sadiq said on Wednesday.

The changes cover Chittagong University, Noakhali Science and Technology University, National University Bangladesh and Islamic Arabic University.

New appointments have been made alongside removals and returns to parent posts.
