Dhaka, March 30 (BDNEWS) – The final of the Independence Day Gold Cup Football tournament between Brothers Union and Muktijoddha Sangsad was postponed due to heavy rain at Bangabandhu National Stadium Wednesday.
The match was played for 13 minutes amid drizzle.
Brothers Union went ahead in the 11th minute with a goal of Russian striker Victor Edward, but the heavy rain forced the authorities to postpone the match.
BFF will announce a fresh date for the final later on.
