Dhaka, Sept 15 (BDNEWS) – Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) left its vice-president Aziz Al Kaiser Titu in making heads of its eight subcommittees Thursday.
Kaiser, who was elected independently securing highest number of votes in the recent election, was an advisor of the former advisory committee and chief of the marketing committee.
BCB's executive member Ahmed Iqbal Hasan was named as the new head of the marketing committee.
Khandakar Jamiluddin, a defeated candidate in the election, retained his position as he was made the head of the Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis.
Also, BCB general secretary Mahbub Anam, joint secretary Riazuddin Al Mamun and treasurer Afzalur Rahman Sinha retained the posts of chief of the Cricket Committee, Finance Committee and Media Committee respectively.
Vice-president Shah Nurul Kabir Shahin MP will head two subcommittees – Tournament Committee and Corporate League Committee.
Kazi Usha Mishu was named the head of Umpires Committee.
Besides, an 11-member committee for the BCB Annual General Meeting (AGM) was formed with Nurul Kabir Shahin as convenor and Mahbub Anam member secretary.
