Dhaka, Feb 23 (bdnews24.com)—Bangladesh duo Sharmin Akhter Ratna and Sadia Sultana shot their way to gold at the Commonwealth Shooting Championship in New Delhi on Tuesday in the women's doubles 10m air rifle event.
Sharmin and Sadia's combined score in the event was 790, which is also a new Commonwealth record, Ishtiaq Ahmed Bablu, general secretary of Bangladesh Shooting Federation, told bdnews24.com.
Sharmin scored 396 and Sadia scored 394.
India got the silver and England won bronze in the event.
