Dhaka, August 04 (BDNEWS) – The government has appointed Planning Secretary Akthar Hossain Khan as President of Bangladesh Chess Federation (BCF), said a press release Thursday.
He will replace former BCF president Zakir Hossain Khan.
Akter Hossain Khan was the former secretary of the National Sports Council, the treasurer of the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) and member of Bangladesh Football Federation.
