Rajshahi, Nov 25 (bdnews24.com)--Former mayor Mizanur Rahman Minu was elected president of the BNP's Rajshahi metropolitan unit in a council on Wednesday.
Minu, also the central organising secretary, was elected unopposed while Shafiqul Islam Milon was chosen as the new general secretary.
The council was held at Uttara Community Centre where the opposition chief whip Joynal Abdin Farroque was present as chief guest.
Faruq inaugurated the council at 3pm while Shaheed Uddin Chowdhury Anee MP, district BNP convenor Azizur Rahman were also present.
