Dhaka, May 27 (BDNEWS) – Major General (retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim Bir Protik met the leader of the opposition and Awami League president Sheikh Hasina at her Sudha Sadan residence in Dhanmondi Saturday night.
Party sources said the meeting was too brief in duration.
Asked, Major Gen (retd) Ibrahim told journalists, "I wrote a book in Bangla on Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT). Now as I am going to publish an English version of the book, I asked for Sheikh Hasina's time for an interview of her for the English version of the book."
He said Sheikh Hasina listened to him and told him that she will let him know about her decision about the interview later.
