Justice KM Sobhan dies at 84

Former Supreme Court judge KM Sobhan died of cardiac arrest in hospital Monday. He was 84. Justice Sobhan collapsed with chest pains after he went out for an afternoon walk at the Ramna Park, his family said. People rushed him to the BIRDEM hospital from the park. Doctors declared him dead around 6.00pm. Later, the family members took the body of Justice Sobhan to his Malibagh home.

Dhaka, Dec 31 (bdnews24.com)—Former Supreme Court judge KM Sobhan died of cardiac arrest in hospital Monday. He was 84.
Justice Sobhan collapsed with chest pains after he went out for an afternoon walk at the Ramna Park, his family said.
People rushed him to the BIRDEM hospital from the park. Doctors declared him dead around 6.00pm.
Later, the family members took the body of Justice Sobhan to his Malibagh home.
Justice Sobhan was also president of the South Asian People's Union against Fundamentalism and Communalism.
