The leader of the Parliament was replying to a query from BNP’s reversed seat MP Nilufar Chowdhury Moni on Wednesday.

Hasina said a huge sum of the money borrowed by Dandy Dyeing Limited, Khamba Limited and institutions owned by opposition leaders including Gias Al Mamun was being considered to be bad loan.

“Dandy Dyeing Limited took Tk 401 million alone from Sonali Bank. The whole amount is bad loan,” Hasina added.

The Directors of Dandy Dyeing are BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's two sons – Tarique Rahman and Arafat Rahman Coco, Tarique's friend Giasuddin Al Mamun, Khaleda's younger brother late Sayeed Eskandar and his wife Nasrin Ahmed and Mozaffar Ahmed.
