The body of Toufique Imrose Khalidi, the late editor-in-chief and publisher of bdnews24.com and a pioneer who brought Bangladesh’s news media into the digital age, touched down in Dhaka on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at 10:55am on Saturday. From the airport, it was taken to the news outlet’s office in Mohakhali, where tearful colleagues broke down as they gathered to bid him a final farewell.
