Inside Matuail’s race to print textbooks

As the year draws to a close, printing presses in Jatrabari’s Matuail are humming with activity, their workers racing against the clock to print and bind millions of textbooks for primary and secondary students. Commissioned by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB), the relentless effort aims to put fresh books in students’ hands on the first day of the new year.
