Hari Boisu festival in Khagrachhari

The hills of Khagrachhari are buzzing with a festive atmosphere surrounding Hari Boisu, the key social festival of the Tripura community. It is celebrated on the last two days of the Bengali month of Chaitra and the first day of Baishakh. According to the Tripura calendar, they organise the Hari Boisu festival on the 29th day of Chaitra.
