Two more people have died with measles symptoms across Bangladesh over the past 24 hours, while 92 new measles cases have been confirmed.
In its Tuesday bulletin, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said one patient died in the Dhaka Division, while the other died in Khulna in the 24 hours from 8am on Monday.
The health directorate has been publishing measles data since Mar 15.
Official figures show 101 people have died from measles and 964 with measles symptoms, taking the toll to 1,065 in nearly six months.
Dhaka Division has recorded the highest number of deaths with symptoms at 433, followed by Sylhet with 169. Rajshahi recorded 93, Mymensingh 78, Chattogram 76, Barishal 60, Khulna 41 and Rangpur 14.
Another 1,257 people with symptoms sought hospital care in the past 24 hours, with 1,176 admitted: Dhaka 365, Chattogram 250, Sylhet 168, Barishal 123, Khulna 123, Mymensingh 75, Rajshahi 27 and Rangpur 15.
Hospital admissions have reached 160,980, with 154,510 discharged.
Suspected cases total 182,092, while confirmed cases stand at 20,738.
Not all patients are tested, so the actual number of measles cases cannot be determined.
