Journalist Sanjib Chowdhury dies at 43

Journalist and singer Sanjib Chowdhury died from brain hemorrhage shortly after Sunday midnight at age 43, an official with Apollo Hospital said. Sanjib was taken to Apollo Hospital Friday, the hospital's duty manager Bipash Chandra Roy told bdnews24.com. Sanjib was first rushed to a hospital in Mirpur with breathing problems, his family said.

Dhaka, Nov 18 ( bdnews24.com) – Journalist and singer Sanjib Chowdhury died from brain hemorrhage shortly after Sunday midnight at age 43, an official with Apollo Hospital said.
Sanjib was taken to Apollo Hospital Friday, the hospital's duty manager Bipash Chandra Roy told bdnews24.com. Sanjib was first rushed to a hospital in Mirpur with breathing problems, his family said.
Sanjib started his career in journalism with Bangla-language daily
Ajker Kagoj
in 1991 and became popular as features writer.
He was one of the founders of musical band
Dal Chhut
in 1996 and released the latest album
Jyotsna Bihar
.
Born in Sylhet, Sanjib did his Master's in mass communication and journalism from Dhaka University.
Sanjib left behind wife Progga Nasrin Shilpi and daughter Kingbadanti.
